Brat Brit Awards 2025: Charli XCX's four wins and Chappell Roan's two big honors

2025 has truly been a remarkable year for British music, with standout artists making waves across the industry. Charli XCX, Jade, Lola Young, and Little Simz are just a few of the big names leading the charge. As a result, the 2025 Brit Awards were always destined to be memorable, especially given how the event has evolved over the years. In contrast to some tame moments in recent history, the Brit Awards this year proved to be an exciting spectacle—far removed from the infamous 1989 ceremony, when the live broadcast was halted for nearly two decades after a chaotic event.

This year's ceremony was packed with incredible performances, from Sabrina Carpenter to Sam Fender and, of course, Lola Young, who had us all hooked with her chart-topping hit that’s been on repeat since May 2024.

It wasn’t surprising when Charli XCX took home the most accolades of the evening. Her wins included Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year, further solidifying her place in the music industry. Meanwhile, Chappell Roan, who couldn’t attend the event in London, won both International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year. The evening showcased the ever-growing influence of British talent on the global stage..
